The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has issued a one-week ultimatum to former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo a.k.a Tompolo to appear before the Commission on Awolowo Road, Ikoyi, Lagos, else he would be declared wanted.
Tompolo is being investigated for his involvement in the sale of parcels of land worth about 13 billion naira to the federal government under the last administration, a letter from EFCC revealed.
Tompolo is expected to appear at the EFCC training room on Thursday, 17th December.
The former militant leader had earlier in November been invited by the Head of Operations at the EFCC, Iliasu Kwabai to answer questions on the deal, but Tompolo had ignored the call.
